As a photographer, it’s important for me to capture the special moments in time, and by doing that I have to find the perfect location for the photoshoot, so it adds to the client’s story. Indiana is the home base for the photoshoots that I have done, but I have been expanding my client base to the surrounding areas. Before every photo shoot, I arrive early to check out the place to envision ideas for the client’s photos.
A quote that resonates with me is, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” – Dr. Seuss. It motivates and inspires me to capture every moment with authentic emotions from my clients, whether it’s happiness, sadness, joyfulness, or anger. My desire is to convey a comfortability between the client and the photographer, so each photo shows their authentic selves.
Being a photographer, I have to anticipate change at each photo shoot because there are several variables that need to be accounted for. I’ve become accustomed to adapting to
change when it comes to client’s preferences, locations, ideas, lighting, weather, etc. Through each interaction, I’ve become proficient at problem-solving, while also communicating to my clients and assistants in a timely manner. Photography is unique because it gives me the opportunity to capture the moments we’ll treasure most.
