Notable Speakers to Visit Grace this Winter
Grace College is pleased to welcome notable speakers to campus this winter, including Cokeisha Bailey Robinson and Dr. D. A. Carson. All Grace College chapels are free and open to the public. They take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:30 – 11:20 a.m. in the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center, 610 Wooster Rd., Winona Lake.
“Chapel is an opportunity for the Grace community to seek God together. We worship and listen to a variety of inspirational speakers who challenge us to go deeper in our faith,” said Brent Mencarelli, dean of chapel and community life at Grace. He added, “The public is always welcome to join us.”
Cokeisha Bailey Robinson will return to Grace to speak on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 24 and 25. Robinson has served as a missionary, pastor, and author; she now writes devotionals, mentors seminarians and is a national conference speaker. She will speak at Grace on “Finding Opportunity in Obscurity” and “The Agony of Worship.”
“Grace students always enjoy her passionate messages and sincere kindness to everyone she meets,” said Mencarelli.
Dr. D. A. Carson will visit Grace College on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 7 and 8. Dr. Carson is a well-known theologian, emeritus professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and president of the Gospel Coalition. Dr. Carson is a prolific writer, having authored or edited more than 50 books, and an active international speaker.
Mencarelli said, “We are very honored to have Dr. Carson speak at Grace and look forward to a memorable message from him.”
