Grace College Cancels On-Campus Classes and Closes Residence Halls through April 13
Grace College has canceled on-campus classes and temporarily closed residence halls until April 13 in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Classes are canceled today through Tuesday, March 17 to prepare for remote instruction. Classes will move to remote delivery beginning Wednesday, March 18.
Grace College will remain open for faculty and staff only. Most special events on campus will be canceled, with individual announcements pending. All Grace College athletic events, including practices, are suspended until April 1.
These decisions were made after ongoing conversations with state officials, local health authorities and community leaders, and in response to the declaration from the World Health Organization that COVID-19 is now a global pandemic.
The Grace College response team continues to assess the situation and coordinate communication for students, faculty and staff. Additional updates and information will be disseminated as soon as they are available. For on-going updates visit www.grace.edu/.
