Grace Silver Scholars
We are pleased to offer once again the Silver Scholars Program on our campus this spring semester. This is an opportunity for adults 55 and older to audit on-campus classes at a very reduced rate.
The Silver Scholars program is suspended for the Fall of 2020.
Spring 2020 Silver Scholar Opportunities
These classes are offered in this way to:
- Enrich your lives: Growth and learning can occur at any age.
- Enrich the lives of our current students: You can impact others.
- Encourage your prayer: Your prayers for Grace will be experience-based.
Challenging and interesting courses are offered for audit through the Silver Scholars Program. The classes cover a broad range of topics, and we hope you will find a course (or two) that will expand your horizon. Please note: Grace College has an academic calendar with Session A and Session B in each semester (fall and spring). Each course lasts only eight weeks.
The cost is only $25 per person per class, which is much lower than the standard auditing fee.
As we disciple our students at Grace, we desire to apply biblical values in strengthening character, sharpening competence, and preparing for service. Your involvement in the Silver Scholars Program would help us advance this mission.
The attached pages offer course titles, instructors, schedules, and meeting locations. (You may also access this information at this website: www.grace.edu/silverscholars.) Registration will be held in the Registrar’s office in Indiana Hall Thursday afternoon, December 19, from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm. You may register, order your books, and pick up a parking pass at that time. I will be there to answer questions. I look forward to meeting you at that time.
We want your experience to be enjoyable and enriching. If you have any questions, you may contact me via text or email (preferred).
In His service,
Dennis E. Gaerte, Ph.D.
